I would like to apologise for the unusual interruption to our service in the last few days. On Friday last week, we were alerted by some of our readers to the fact that they were unable to access the website. Our technical team immediately took measures to restore service. However, there were a few complications, which delayed the restoration process and it has taken longer than we anticipated. Nonetheless, I’m advised that the technical challenge is now sorted and we are ready to resume normal service.
We are sorry that we were not able to communicate with you in the intervening period but it was because of a lack of facility with which to send our communication. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the unexpected interruption.
Lastly, I wish to make a note of how much we value your association with us and we thank you for being one of the many people who have become subscribers to this website within a short period of its existence. Your support has been crucial to the growth of the website.
As we approach 2016, we hope to continue providing critical insights into matters of law and politics in Zimbabwe and Africa, more generally. We hope to expand areas of coverage to economic and investment related issues. We shall be inviting more contributors to enhance the diversity of views and to add to the quality of our output.
